The Greater Cleveland Beepball League and Cleveland Scrappers have a rich history of players and volunteers from over our 40 years of operation. To give credit to those who enriched our lives through their actions, we will share the stories of our players and volunteers past and present who have had a tremendous impact on our organization. We will start by sharing 1 Hall of Scrap inductee per month.
Inductees:
- Marty Skutnik 12 – Marty was one of the founders of the Cleveland Scrappers and a long-time leader for our organization. He was an amazing batter and a spectacular fielder.
- Michael Berwald #16 – Mike was one of the founding members having introduced beep baseball to Kevin and Marty. He played on teams through the early years of the scrappers in the 1980’s.
- William “Bill” Turner #11 – Every team needs players that are in it for the team and are as excited to be helping around the bench as they are to get in and scor the go ahead run. Bill is the ultimate team player. He is the type of person who always shows up and is there do do everything he can. You can’t get anywhere without people like Bill.
